If anyone wants a great place to hunt low maturity Thorios then I can strongly recommend the new BAHQ land area LA 06, the land area east of Nea's Smile

I hunt them in rascal and 5A's but you might be safer in ghost cos they aggro often and gang up on you.

I'll be happy to team with any Scorpion who wants to hunt there, just post below or pm me in-game. Smile

Tax rate: 4%
Damage: 100% impact

Hi

Gratz on the LA, I got there a little bit late but you seamed to have it under control (I got PKd by someone in co Shadows but didn't think it was a good idea to return the favor when I got back (after 5 min)).

Was in on the attack on ALL(? the Island). Fun to hunt after Flavius in CC but newer saw him while I was alive, killed two players (and managed to hurt Skalman until he hit his FOP and turned ouch)). Anyway really fun. But you need go equipment to do anything to the really good (rich) players. Don't remember who it was but someone from cK was shooting it out with 3 players from DK (1) and DK Squires (1). Took him a while but in the end he killed them all, took them over 5 min because I was in the fight and got killed and almost revived before the DK players was dead...

Anyway I might try the LA but I don't really hunt in them that much as the TAX will kill the economy. I do go to LAs now and then if there is mobs that I can't find anywhere else or maturities that is hard to find (have done a couple of tours into the LA with big Bristlehogs).

Is it really wise to have a tax of 4.0%, wouldn't you get more hunters if you set the tax to 2.0% (you would need twice the amount of players but anyway?)

Hmm fair point Dendron...the other guys want to raise it a bit but what you say makes sense and I'll mention it to them.

As far as we can see Thorios aren't great for loot at the moment but have good spells when nice items drop.

Having said that the small maturities we have are fantastic for skills...even I'm getting loads of skills hunting them.

However I think we're going to raise the maturity a bit coz we're getting a bit bored hunting the smaller ones (too easy) and reckon the bigger one's are more likely to HoF and drop more items Smile

Hi

I would expect the players who have managed LA before would know better where the breaking point is (who to get max income from the LA). I know that I and atleast Crusader will only hunt LA if we get something that can't be found elseware (uniqe mobs, maturitys and/or spawn) and the only if tax is "low". With 4% you are paying over 20 PED in tax on a 400 PED round (depending on loot ofcourse) and to do that I want something back.

Anyway the mobs you have are hard to find elsewhere so I might give it a try (and hope for a HoF or cool itemz lol).

At the moment it looks like the plan is to up the maturity to a max of Raiders and to keep the spawn size as it is now.

However we may try organising an event with the low maturities we have now before we do that.

Personally I'm OK up to 5% tax but tend to resist hunting on lands that take any more from me.

Yesterday I got two tax payments, one for 27.04 peds and one for 6.30 peds but this was almost exclusively due to society members hunting like mad on our own land (me especially!) Smile
