Further to above interview, ND mentions 'upgrades to current ships'.
With this in mind Jet and I will obviously be wanting to upgrade our ship to have the potential to fly to these new planets and also to equip with space-guns or other equipment.
If any Scorpion finds a new robot part or something that looks like it could be used as a ship upgrade please will you pm me and I'll see if I can work out a deal.
Even if this part was very rare and we couldn't afford to pay you upfront we could work out some deferred payment + commission at a later date. |

I've not discussed this with Jet yet, and I will certainly need to do so.
But just throwing out a possible idea we could discuss.
Basically I see the Space Pirates venture a completely new slant on EU and one with a different type of risk vs reward system.
If the new space ships are to be modifications of existing ships then the first thing we need to do is upgrade our ship. This will cost peds of course.
There will no doubt be higher fuel costs and costs associated with ship's armour damage and ship's gun repairs.
Finally there is the possibility of us finding valuable resources on a new planet only to be shot-up and looted on the way back to Calypso losing everything to Space Pirates!
With this in mind it might make sense to offer 'shares' in each space expedition with the share owners getting a cut of any profits and, of course, sharing any risks associated with the expedition.
These investors would of course be invited on the mission to operate equipment or weaponry etc.
Interestingly this is how the London Stock Exchange began with traders meeting in coffee houses to arrange finance deals for sailing ship expeditions in search of trade opportunities.
If you are interested in this idea please post below? |

| yeah this is a realy intressting time in the evolution of entropia, and as you already know I also have intresst in a hangar buisness (wich now even have aquired 2 LA´s btw) so if I have the fortune of looting such parts the hangar I have shares in wuld get the first call on them. But I hope you and Jet have an understanding of this priority. |

Ah yes, I understand your conflict of interest here Swede.
But if Jet and I apply the same logic we could take paid passengers to the new planets on the first day they open going for the highest fares.
We wouldn't of course because we will hope to be exploring space as a society. |
