Plans for Scorpio Main and Scorpio academy

I had a meeting with Manar and Silver today and we have made a plan to make sure both Scorpio and Scorpio academy will exist as two seperate soc.

Since the situation is what it is, we need to make sure atleast 5 members are in the soc. to be sure it survives.
I really hope the current members stays, but as a safty measurement I will try to get Libero to apply to the main team and if he does I will accept him.
If he decides not to apply, I got another name on my notebook that might solve the case for us. Smile

This will probably push us out of Top-50 for the time beeing, but I beleve that will be the case anyway when Crusader decide to leave.
I also beleve Scorpios longterm goal is to be a Top-50 society.

Silver will be more active than he has used to be lately and will start recruiting and mentoring new players into Scorpio Academy. I urge everyone to do the same to get a active academy.

Manar is ofcourse a guy that I have much respect for and is certainly a person I beleve can be a good man in the Scorpio main. But for stability reasons in the academy I beleve we're better off with him as the leader of the Scorpio Academy, specially if we all can help out recruiting more members to the academy.

Another question is if we like to recruit member to Scorpio main externally? I really feel that this is risky business. But if anyone knows any good players that they beleve can fit into Scorpio, please suggest that they apply and we'll see how it goes.

I will suggest to have more teaming events happening than we have been used to lately, we'll come back to that later, but if anyone like to arrange them feel free to do so.

I really hope this will make Scorpio and the Academy to survive and become more active.

If anything else fails and we feel that a merger is the only option, then we'll do that, but for now I think we stick to the plan?

Well I'm absolutely delighted to confirm that not only does he intend to return to Scorpio he will do so 'in force' Smile

Think 'high skills' and 'top-end equipment' Wink

I think Scorpio will once again be a Top 50 society some time in the future and I for one am very pleased about that! Smile

Good plan Achma and great news from Rav.

I must admit that I have become a little "insular" in my hunting activities and agree that more team hunts would help to bring the membership even closer.

I think one of the reasons I got bored with EU was that I was doing too much on my own, so I'm looking forward to mentoring and helping new recruits though the early stages of life on Calypso as I believe it will be far more satisfying.

Teamhunts are always fun! Do I hear Beacon Misson?

If we get 4-5 players we should be able to handle Falxangius, SEG and ofcourse Hogglos without to much problems. Remember that SEG was a problem on a Magnum Opus & Scorpio hunt, the problem was that not everyone got to fire there guns as the SEG was dead befor one could get in range (2 Adj. V1, ML-35 .... quite some firepower).

Or a team hunt on CP dome3-4??? ..... or a green dot hunt in PVP4 (we will most likely become pray and not hunters but I would be fun, and don't forget to always carry common dung, when an Uber PKs me I want the to get "dung" Wink
